Lost Sight, Found Strength

The path is so dark and dim, but Julie keeps walking. She is scared, yet her adrenaline makes her look back several times, urging her to walk faster with each step. She wonders why she can't move faster and then realizes it's just her thoughts getting wilder the longer she's on the road. She shouldn't have chosen this path—terrified and confused. She's already halfway through. It sucks. The only way is to adapt, over time. She has one more block, two more, and again she convinces herself it's just one more step to her destination. She's no longer afraid when she starts looking at the sky instead of the road. The evening feels scarier when it's right in front of our eyes, but when it's above, the stars are beautiful. The cold air on her skin feels warmer as her mind grows calmer. Gently, she realizes that she's no longer worried. In fact, she's arrived, in no time. -- I think loneliness comes from the mind. It's not about being surrounded ...
Do you know why it's hard to say goodbye? Because we afraid if our memories might not be able to remember them, rightly. The fact is, goodbye means good. No matter how hard.

The Man with The Star

D'Claire as a stray knight wondered at the gypsy night market. He was just coming back from Rogula War, a dreadful bloodbath war a South Kingdom and Vikings at the Seashore. D'Claire was the knight from whose sent from North Kingdom with three hundreds of men to help South Kingdom. But they didn't see the coming of Vikings with the power of Underworld Kingdom, dark creatures, and sea monsters. South Kingdom was doomed D'Claire was not run away, he was the prisoner of the Vikings. He was taken so they could feed him to the Underworld Kingdom as the offering. Yet, D'Claire as he was jumping to the sea, a star fallen from the sky and it stormly rage the waves around the ship. Sea monsters were scared of the Gods didn't want them to eat D'Claire. D'Claire then rolled by the waves and somehow later he was found by traveler gypsies at the sands of beach. They're taking him because they see the spread of sparkling stars on his skin. When he woke up, he was inside the caravan of an old fire-eater gypsy man. It was in a middle of night and villagers nearby came to see the gypsies.
A gypsy girl found D'Claire at the beach. He remembered she has golden sand skin, black hair and blue eyes. D'Claire was looking of her that night. But, the night of gypsies somehow even more horror for him. The people looked recognize him but not. They were hunting him. D'Claire learned of his skin when he tried to ignore those who followed him at the market and he crossed the lamps shop. The lights glow his skin and they shouted that he is the man with the star. Later, D'Claire ran from them and somehow he turned to block of road where the girl was stood there. D'Claire had no doubt and coming over her. She was surprised D'Claire took her hand and they both ran. She looked back to see people were chasing D'Claire. Then, She learned it was because D'Claire's glowing. She pulled D'Claire's hand as it stopped them from running. She then turned around and looked back at them who chase them. Then, they were stopping. They even bowed on her. Then later, they left them both.
She made sure no one around them trying to catch D'Claire and her eyes looked every side. While that, D'Claire was wondering of who might she be. She found D'Claire watched, she didn't say anything but holding D'Claire's hand and walking back to the fire eater's camp. Somehow, D'Claire's skin back to normal. The fire eater was an old man but with tall height and brown beard, his body was firm, then he asked D'Claire, "You can back inside to the tend."
"Pardon me, but I need to know what's happening to me." D'Claire looked at both her and the old man. But, the old man didn't say anything. He back to her. She then pulled D'Claire's both hands. She made his hands in front of his face side by side. Then, the fire eater blowing the sparks of fire to his face behind his hands. And by second, D'Claire could see by his bare eyes the skin consumed the sparks and they made his skin glow. D'Claire was shocked, "What am I?"
"Inflammable. Like me." said the old man, "Now, go back inside."
She was about to leave but D'Claire held her hand, "Stop. Why do you leave me again?" he asked.
"I am not leaving you." She talked for the first time. Her voice was lower than D'Claire's expected, "I am keeping safe my leverage." Shera then pushed him away. The Fire Eater then bow back to her as she's leaving.
 "Who is she?" He wondered.
"She is same as you. Born by the seashore." The old man came to his tend and started to prepare a bed for D'Claire. "She said she finally can return after finding you."
 "Return where to?"
"I don't know. But she is been my Shera for past six years. She never talk about leaving the caravan. Not until last night. The more I think about it hurts me. She's been looking of you knowing you are saved around warm flames like this and me as fire expert, I..." The old man stopped.
"She told me as 'leverage', too."
"Yes, yes... everything is just about it. Don't take it personally. That is why, tomorrow we're going to leave the caravan."
 "How everyone bow on her?"
"You don't need to know. It will hurt you more. She already knew everything, prepared everything. It will be alright. You don't need to know. That's what she always said to me. You can't leave anywhere safely without me and her. Do you hear clearly?" Said the Fire Eater.
"I...I think I owe you both my life."
"You are, my child." Then the old man finished the side for D'Claire to sleep, "Go to sleep, my child." Asked him. There's nothing D'Claire could do besides following what best of him. The new him. To stay with the fire-eater, he could hide himself disguised as one of the fire balls, but if he's alone he would shine alone and the star's glowing under his skin can do more of things. The man with the star.
