Lost Sight, Found Strength

The path is so dark and dim, but Julie keeps walking. She is scared, yet her adrenaline makes her look back several times, urging her to walk faster with each step. She wonders why she can't move faster and then realizes it's just her thoughts getting wilder the longer she's on the road. She shouldn't have chosen this path—terrified and confused. They continued to dance around the fire. Warm fire and moves made the children happy and their smiles brought Dafire to laugh in the middle of the dance.  Dafire brought the children to where she lived. Dafire lives wherever she wants. Tonight, Dafire took the children to the monastery she had just passed. Dafire asked them not to speak and they entered the chapel. Dafire made them comfortable by sleeping on the floor near the altar. Dafire could not sleep, she only stared at the altar with candles that lived between the statues. ...
