Lost Sight, Found Strength

The path is so dark and dim, but Julie keeps walking. She is scared, yet her adrenaline makes her look back several times, urging her to walk faster with each step. She wonders why she can't move faster and then realizes it's just her thoughts getting wilder the longer she's on the road. She shouldn't have chosen this path—terrified and confused. She's already halfway through. It sucks. The only way is to adapt, over time. She has one more block, two more, and again she convinces herself it's just one more step to her destination. She's no longer afraid when she starts looking at the sky instead of the road. The evening feels scarier when it's right in front of our eyes, but when it's above, the stars are beautiful. The cold air on her skin feels warmer as her mind grows calmer. Gently, she realizes that she's no longer worried. In fact, she's arrived, in no time. -- I think loneliness comes from the mind. It's not about being surrounded ...
Do you know why it's hard to say goodbye? Because we afraid if our memories might not be able to remember them, rightly. The fact is, goodbye means good. No matter how hard.

Live A Lifer: First Date

"You are never have a happy life!"
"You're right!"
"People always cut you off in the middle of the road."
"That's true!"
"And you have no friends."
"I know..."
"See, you are such pathetic and sad person, ever."
"Thank you to remind me."
"But in this bar, you are very welcome, Miss Feelsgood."
"I love this bar. You given people some fake IDs and listen our problems."
"As long as you keep throw us your money."
"I only have been a day and my money hasn't been waste at all, Sir!"
"Then, please be our loyal customer, Miss Feelsgood!"
"I will!!!"

In this bar, all customers get their own fake IDs. They would get personal butler. And here I am, stand in front of the building. Looking at the video review on Youtube. It seems really feel good to be not myself and can be serve like a real human for once.
"Ah! I don't think so."
"Are you going in, Miss?"
Suddenly a bar door open and a big shadow head pops up.
"No." This is embarrassing to get caught peek in front of the place you doesn't want to in. I am turning back but somehow, that big shadow just stand from my way. He's big and wearing kind of suit, but I know this is waitress look.
"Let me introduce myself. My name is Andrew Goeasy. Welcome to Live A Lifer."
"Ah... It's nice to meet you as well. I am ..."
"You can not tell your real name, Miss. That's our rule. Please come in. For the first-time customer, we are always give you a discount 50%."
"Wow. That's a good deal."
"Yes." He seems opening the bar door really big in front of me. He looks younger than me. Well, I heard the butlers are pretty, too. Like him.
"Ah...I think I will pass..."
Some people suddenly came from behind me. They pushed me inside. And, the door behind me closed and I am inside.
The place looks really like bar., Great ambient, and just like similar bars.
"Let me get you a table? Where do you want to sit, at the bar, the smoking area, or not?"
"Ah..." I look around and I decided to get a place at the bar. Miss Feelsgood always pick the spot at the tip lifet of bar table. Well, that's really odd since the best part of the bar table is in the center.
The man escorts me to the bar and I'll just try to follow his steps among the crowded.
As I sit, that man went inside the bar.
"Well, what can I get for you, Miss ....oh! your IDs, to make sure you are allowed to drink alcohols tonight."
"Ah..."
"So, what can I get for you, Miss Jolly Rare?"
"Ah... yes, that's my name."
"Your card can also be use as e-money at our bar. So, what can I get you?"
"Ah... can you get me a whiskey?"
"Sure, Miss Jolly Rare."
I am waiting for him to get me the drink.
"Hi, are you here alone?" a man sit next to me. A gentleman with cool suit, "So, you're new here?"
"Ah..."
"I'm Solo Tempo. I also wait for my man, here."
"Here's your drink, Miss Rare." Andrew already back, "How is your evening, Mr. Tempo?"
"Oh, Andrew. I am waiting for Clark Kent. Where is he....oh! Kent! There you are." They are kissing. So, they both are gay. I couldn't tell if a good-looking man is gay or not. Such embarrasing. They went away as I back focus on the drink.
"Are you okay, Miss Rare?"
"I'm not okay...."
"What is it?"
"How much is this drink?"
"$30 per glass."
"Ah... so it's $15."
"Is it too expensive?"
"Many."
"I can give it free in the house for the second order."
"Ah... thank you."
"You're very welcome."
I slurp my whiskey. It's really strong, I never match with any alcohol. But just a day. Spend lot of money, just today. For this experience.
"Miss Rare?"
"Ah...yes."
"You come off again. Is there something that worry you much?"
"Ah...why do you ask?"
"Mostly our customers come so they can escape from the troubles they're living in their own life."
"Ah... Live A Lifer, that's right. I'm really sure it means to live as a prisoner?"
"Yes, Miss. To listen our customer's life who are captured by their own daily life, like we're hearing people who be imprisoned for the rest of their lives and at least ease their painless wound."
"Ah...Ah..."
"What is it, Miss...are you crying?"
"Ah... yes, just a bit meltdown." I tried to wipe my tears down.
"What's wrong, Miss Rare? At least share your burden would help to ease your life sentenced sorrow." He's holding my hand.
"I... I am sorry... but I am here would not tell of my sorrow." I take back my hand. Just so I can grab the photo from my purse. "I am looking for this."
"A place?"
"Yes. I saw it in the old newspaper. I hope you could help me to look where is this place?"
"It's a bridge."
"Yes."
"It seems like many similar little bridges like this one. It seems even harder to look this picture also black and white."
"Ah... that's also what I thought."
"But, of course it's not really harder in Live A Lifer. I'm Andrew Goeasy, will make your search go easier!"
"Ah... what a catchphrase." He is back holding my hand. My other free hand, I slurped my whiskey. Ugh... hot stomach suddenly.
"Is it fine if I take the picture, so maybe I can go look for it. Is it from local newspaper?"
"Ah... yes."
"I'm sure I will give you some answers by the next time you come."
"Ah..." He is really great on this kind of service, directly ask me to come again. I just nod. He smiles and take away the picture. I finished my whiskey.
"Would you like to get a second order?"
"I'm fine. I can not owe you."
"Owe you, Miss?"
"Yes. I have already burden you with this ask. I couldn't ask you more." I am giving the $35 at the table, "And here's for the tip."
"Thank you, Miss Rare. You are such a cool customer, Miss Rare!" He smiles again.
"Ah... you're flattering me. This is just like exactly in Youtube videos."
"Ah..."
"Ah...?"
"Your favorite phrase. Ah..."
"Ah... don't do that."
"Don't?"
"Ah... like me."
He smiles again, "I will, Miss Rare."
"It's nice to meet you, Andrew Goeasy."
I step down from the bar and start to walk to the doorway. But anyway, it's really brave start. I almost go out from the doorway and someone hold me back. It's Andrew, again.
"Ah... what is it?"
"I'm sorry, Miss Rare but you almost forgot your IDs."
"Oh, my fake IDs."
"Please, come back here again soon." He bows.
"Until next time." I bow back at him. And I walk out.
